Introducing HTP's Turbo Inlet Pipe For 2007-2009 MazdaSpeed3 & 2006-2009 MazdaSpeed 6

Description:

HTP's MazdaSpeed Turbo Inlet replaces the restrictive plastic stock inlet. These inlets are manufactured out of 2.5" T-6061 aluminum mandrel bent piping for a smooth transition into the turbo. This increase of air flow results in a faster spool time of 200-300RPMs and a 5-7 horsepower increase. HTP's inlet is professionally tig welded, features bead-rolled ends, and comes with all the necessary hardware for a direct replacement. These inlets will also work with any CAI (cold air intake) that fits the stock inlet pipe. Our inlets are available in two finishes: polished or black wrinkle powder coating.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

“After [install], driving the car was smooth, felt the power increase but most of all there were no ill effects. Everything ran as though it was stock. Thank you for the quality of your product.” –J.T., Pickerington, OH (HTP MS3 Turbo Inlet, polished)

“Initial Impressions: The item came packaged well in bubble wrap with all necessary parts. The black powdercoat was 100% covering the piece and looks gorgeous! The welds are top notch all around. The bypass valve extension tube does not protrude into the main pipe inside, and the fitting for the wastegate solenoid barely does at all. The bead rolled ends are great…The brass fitting for the wastegate tube was installed tightly with white tape (appropriate to seal completely, obviously a performance shop knew to do this). The hose clamps and the silicone connector were both included as was the replacement wastegate solenoid…tubing….. Performance Impressions: Bottom end acceleration is smoother and car seems to pull a tiny bit harder with less effort at mid acceleration. Top end gears pull a bit noticeably harder. First gear from 2500rpm..... holy s*it. I was out of traction from 1st THROUGH 3rd with torque steer all over the road. No joke or exaggeration! It is way stronger down low and pulls without hesitation. The power reduction is still present above 5500rpm but seems a bit less drastic, nothing serious though. The sound is not just louder with the CAI, its different. The bypass valve release is less of a BOOSH and more of a quick flush of air. This is no vacuum cleaner sound, its an airy hard sucking sound, aka, awesome. I can hear a bit of turbo whine too…. I recommend this piece wholeheartedly.” –Chris B., Atlanta, GA (HTP MS3 Turbo Inlet, powdercoated)
